This is the drink/dessert I have been obsessing over since I arrived in Santiago, Mote Con Huesillo. It basically consists of a sweet liquid syrup made with dried peaches (huesillo) and mixed with fresh cooked husked wheat (mote). I been tempted to try the street vendors but haven't exactly muster up enough courage to do so. Not sure I really wanted to test the boundry of my stomach stamina in a country where I would need a translator should I need medical attention. Luckily, I found it at this random restaurant that Paige, Megan and I stumbled upon while out on our sleeping bag shopping excursion.
The taste was pretty good though a little too sweet. Obsession complete.
